Referral Program Terms
1. The program
The HiJack Poker Referral Program (“the Program”) is operated by HiJack Poker (“we”, “us”). By claiming a referral code you (“the Referrer”) agree to these terms.
The Program may be changed, paused, or ended at any time, for any reason, without notice. Rewards earned before a change or ending are honoured under the rules in force when they were earned; nothing is owed for referrals that had not qualified by that time.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older and hold a HiJack Poker account in good standing.
- Staff, contractors, and their immediate household may be excluded at our discretion.
- Influencers and partners under a separate agreement are governed by that agreement where it conflicts with these terms.
3. How a referral qualifies
- A referred player must enter your code in the referral code field when registering for HiJack Poker. Attribution cannot be added afterwards except at our discretion.
- A referral qualifies when the referred player's first deposit is $5 or more in a single transaction. Deposits are confirmed from HiJack Poker's records, not from screenshots or messages.
- There is no deadline between registration and the qualifying deposit.
- A player can be referred once. The first valid code entered stands.
4. Rewards
- Under the standard program, every 5 qualified referrals (“a rack”) earns $50 in table cash. Racks repeat with no limit.
- Table cash is credited to your HiJack Poker account. Use it to buy in at any table, or withdraw it.
- Rewards are credited to the Referrer's HiJack Poker account by our team, normally within one business day of being earned, and are shown as “paid” on your dashboard when done.
- Rewards are non-transferable and may be subject to conditions published by HiJack Poker.
5. Codes
- Codes are issued automatically. You may request a custom code; requests are reviewed and may be declined for any reason, including codes that are offensive, misleading, impersonate a person or brand, or resemble a reserved word.
- Requesting a custom code retires your current code immediately. If the request is declined, the previous code is restored.
- Codes may be shared publicly. We may withdraw a code that is being used in a way that damages HiJack Poker's reputation.
6. Abuse and voiding
We may void referrals or rewards, and remove a Referrer from the Program, where we reasonably believe there has been:
- self-referral, or referral of an account you control;
- duplicate accounts, shared devices or payment methods used to manufacture referrals;
- deposits that are reversed, charged back, or withdrawn without play;
- paid advertising, spam, or misrepresentation of HiJack Poker or the Program;
- any breach of HiJack Poker's Terms of Service.
Where a reward has already been credited and a referral is later found to be invalid, we may deduct the amount from your HiJack Poker account.
7. Privacy
We show you the HiJack Poker username of each referred player and whether they have made a qualifying deposit. We never show deposit amounts, balances, or contact details. Referred players are not shown anything about you beyond the code they entered. We use your email address to sign you in and, if you opt in, to notify you about your standings.
8. Disputes
If you believe a referral was not counted, contact support@hijackpoker.com within 30 days with the referred player's username. Our determination from HiJack Poker's records is final.
